James
Peinkofer is a licensed clinical social worker.
He has degrees from Hartwick College,
Rochester Institute of Technology,
and University of Buffalo.
James
is the author of two books: 101 Ways to
Soothe a Crying Baby
(Contemporary Books, September 2000), and
Silenced
Angels: the Medical, Legal, and Social Aspects of Shaken Baby Syndrome
(Auburn House, January 2002).
In
1997, he founded Peinkofer Associates, a consultation agency
specializing in child abuse and child homicide investigation,
Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention/education.
Over
the last 10 years, James has given presentations
to thousands of parents and professionals
on the many tragic aspects of child abuse.
